Feeling thirsty? This year’s Roots and Brews event held on August 20, 2017 at the 22nd annual Iron Horse Festival is the perfect opportunity to listen to live Roots music and taste local craft beer. What better combination could there be?
This exciting event takes place on the historical rail lands of the Elgin County Railway Museum, right at the heart of the Iron Horse Festival. Don’t miss the festival’s grand finale, featuring the best sounds and tastes of summer.
Sit back and savour cold brews hand-crafted to perfection by our many local breweries, including the Bell City Brewery, Walkerville Brewery, Junction 56 Distillery, and the Railway City Brewing Company.
Enjoy the sweet summer sound of live Roots music throughout the day. Performances begin at 11:00 am with The Shangles, followed by Stan Brown Blues, Michael Trugeon, Sam Taylor, Counting Down the Hours, Soul Doctors, and the Johnny Max Band.
