Welcome to the FIRST EVER ST THOMAS COMIC CON !
Our Guest of Honour is Canadian Comic Artist Andrew Thomas. Andrew is
the creator of Auric of the North and a regular artist on the iconic
Captain Canuck. To commemorate Canada’s 150th birthday and to
celebrate the first ever St Thomas Comic Con, Andrew has created a
limited edition St Thomas Comic Con variant edition of Auric #1. Only
250 copies of this book will be produced making it an instant
Andrew has also created a unique version of Lil AURIC. Only 200 copies
have been printed and they will be FREE at the show.
“What Extra-Terrestrial terror lies ahead for Auric? Find out in an
all new Tall Tails “Martian Madness”. Debuting at the St Thomas Comic
Con at the Iron Horse Festival August 19-20. We will be doing another
200 copies and best of all of course, they will be FREE! Proudly

Our second Guest of Honour is Kingston artist Fred Dunn. Fred has
recently completed his first trade paperback ” The Truth About
Grandpa”. This stunning 100 page Graphic Novel is available
exclusively at the St Thomas Comic Con as a signed and numbered limited
edition. Only 50 copies were made worldwide.
St Thomas Comic Con is also very excited to announce StudioComix Press
and artist Alfonso Espinos. StudioComix Press is one of Canada’s
largest independent comic publishers! A full line of comics and prints
will be available at the show.

Don’t forget to bring your camera! The St Thomas Comic Con will also have
an actual Dalek as seen on the television series Dr Who, brought to
you by Kingston cosplay master Piper Cosplay. Piper Cosplay will also
have a Baby Groot available for FREE photo ops! You can also get your
picture taken with members of the Star Wars costuming fan club, The
501st (www.501st.ca ) and many other amazing cosplayers including the
one and only Chad Park , better known locally as SPAWN.
Dress up as your favourite hero or villain and join us August 19th and
20th at the Elgin County Railway Museum ( 225 Wellington St )
Admission to the event is only $5 !
Event hours are Saturday 11 am to 8 pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm .
